In addition to the issuing of transfer notes and consignment notices, IT-Green can issue evidence notes (WEEE certificates), data destruction certificates, asset tracking certificates and notify you of wastes recovered from your obsolete computer hardware.

The service offers a truly viable route to recycling for obsolete computer hardware and is the only treatment facility in Cambridge to hold Approved Authorised Treatment Facility status with the Environment Agency.

Charging And Waste IT Acceptance

IT and Telecommunications Equipment make up one of 10 categories of WEEE as defined in the WEEE directive. Our service covers all 10 categories of WEEE and is able to issue evidence (where applicable) for the recycling of Computers and their associated peripherals.

We accept all forms of IT equipment, except for equipment that contains CFCs, HCFCs, Asbestos and need to be notified if wastes contain PCBs. Our recycling facility charges for the following forms of waste:

• Hazardous computer CRT screens
• Hazardous waste Transfer Notices
• Computer Universal Power Supplies.
